This notice explains how Sendaflor™, a brand of Euroflora Boutique, processes personal data under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. Personal data we process

When you use the Sendaflor website or app, we may collect and process:

• Your first and last name.
• Contact details: email, phone number and delivery address.
• The recipient’s details: name, address and phone number, if provided.
• Personal messages to include with an order.
• Payment information, handled through secure gateways and not stored locally.
• Technical information: IP address, browser type, device and operating system.
• Shopping preferences and browsing data.

3. Why we process your data

We process personal data to manage and deliver orders; communicate about orders and provide customer support; meet tax and administrative obligations; send promotional messages with prior consent; carry out anonymous statistical analysis to improve the service; and operate and manage the mobile app.

3a. Using the Sendaflor app (PWA)

Sendaflor is also available as a Progressive Web App (PWA), downloadable free of charge from the App Store (Apple) and Google Play Store (Android). The app offers the same features as the website and lets you place orders, save preferences and addresses, receive notifications and manage your account.

Data collected through the app is processed under GDPR principles, with the same safeguards and purposes described in this notice. The app does not access sensitive device features, such as the camera, location or contacts, without your prior consent.

4. Legal basis

Processing is lawful where it is necessary to perform a contract, such as fulfilling an order; required by legal or tax obligations; based on your explicit consent, such as a newsletter subscription; or justified by the controller’s legitimate interests, such as improving the service.

5. How we process data

Personal data is processed electronically and, in some cases, on paper. Appropriate security measures are used to prevent unauthorised access, loss, destruction or disclosure.

6. Sharing data with third parties

Personal data may be shared with:

• Local partner florists responsible for preparing and delivering the order. For this purpose, the buyer’s or sender’s details (name, phone number and message) and the recipient’s details (name, address and phone number, if provided) will be passed to the florist.
• Couriers and delivery services.
• Payment providers, such as Stripe, PayPal and Klarna.
• Technical service providers and external advisers.
• Public authorities and other parties entitled to receive the data by law.

All third parties involved must comply with applicable law and keep the data they process confidential.

7. How long we keep data

Data is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and, in any event, for the periods required by tax, accounting and civil law.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access your personal data; request corrections or updates; request erasure (the right to be forgotten); restrict or object to processing; obtain data portability; and withdraw consent at any time.
